Security

The most important feature in e-commerce is security. We offer many security measures. Our shopping carts offer support for SSL, including most “shared” SSL certificates and encryption of passwords, and credit card numbers in the database. We also add robust user input validations throughout the store to trap possible SQL string hacks. To provide the utmost security, critical information (such as the RC4 key) is kept separate from the database and we assign additional login to the admin for staff that can’t modify the store’s configuration settings.

Customer Convenience

For the utmost flexibility and ease of use, accounts can be created before or during check out process. Customers can view and modify their personal info by logging on to their account and a full order history and detail is available to the customer along with a list of their favorite products. Customers receive confirmation e-mails when they place the order, and when their order’s status changes. All software downloads are available via their online account, which means no more hassles with e-mailed software links gone missing. During a transaction, the customer can re-attempt payment at a later date (sometimes the Payment Gateway’s servers are down) and with this software, the customer can come back and pay later.

Our system also offers: password reminder feature for customers, “e-mail a friend” allows customer to send a link to a product via e-mail, support for tax-free customers, convenient order print function from the customer’s account area, advanced search function, “contact us” script to send queries via e- mail from your store, “save cart” functionality, see shipping estimates before checkout, selectable currency and language, and product selection by brand.

Catalog & Products

The software does not limit the number of products, categories and options. It allows the option of item discounts based on quantity ordered and order discounts with single or multi use discount codes. Products in your catalog can be linked to multiple categories, and multiple option groups and product categories can be “nested” within each other.
